Job Description:
As part of an ongoing digital transformation, we are strengthening a team of experts for the implementation of banking APIs. We are looking for an experienced engineer to contribute to the integration of the API4C (API For Corporate). You will work at the heart of innovative projects, particularly on SEPA Instant Payments, banking transaction management, and the automation of financial flows for corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate secure APIs within the ecosystem, adhering to the bank's standards and regulations.
- Implement and test SEPA Instant APIs for payment and account management in test and production environments.
- Collaborate closely with technical and business teams to ensure smooth API integration within client systems.
- Manage secure authentication via OAuth 2.0, handle SSL certificates, and implement electronic signatures.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in banking APIs and contribute to the continuous improvement of solutions.
- Participate in continuous deployment processes and handle error management within an agile environment.
Language Requirements:
- Dutch: Basic written and spoken communication skills

Education:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
Travel:
- Occasionally traveling to Paris
Required Experience / Knowledge:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
Technical Experience:
Preferable:
- Proven experience in developing and integrating REST/SOAP APIs in a banking or financial environment.
- Proficiency in secure authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, SAML) and SSL certificate management.
Business experience:
Preferable:
- Knowledge of SEPA payments and Instant Payment (SCT Inst).
- Expertise in programming languages (Python, Java, or Node.js).
- Strong command of API integration and testing tools (Postman, Swagger).
