NetApp-SPO Migration manager

for our customer ING Swing in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Netapp to SPO Migration manager
start: asap
duration: first contract till 30-06-2025 with potential extention
language : English
onsite presence : not strictly required but a very nice plus/bonus if the possibility exists
working in CET timezone obligated.

Job overview

Manage the day-to-day migration of several hundred Terabytes of data from the legacy fileshare solution to SharePoint Online
Oversee  and steer the work of  the migration team, consisting  of  2 analysts  & 2  engineers
First point of escalation to the data owners/ business migration managers around any issues arising from (planned) migrations
Track and steer progress to ensure that migrations are completed on time, especially ensuring that critical milestones are met
Together with the PowerBI team, create dashboard and reports that allow senior management to be aware of  progress  on  an ongoing basis
Escalate to management  (Lead Engineer, IT Area Lead and/or Program Management)   any issues that
threaten meeting the milestones and require intervention
Participate in the Proof-of-Concept with Veritas Alta Saas Protection for A) file archiving (stubbing) in SharePoint  Online  and B) backup of M365 data
Hierarchically reports  into the IT Area  Lead for  M365
Functionally reports into the Lead Engineer for Collaboration and Data.

Job requirements

In-depth  Knowledge of  M365 SPO, Identity  (AzureAD/EntralD)
In-depth  Knowledge of  SPMT and ShareGate
Experience with implementing   new usecases in the migration factory (PS and  PNP)
Project Management  experience  with large migrations  in a technical   environment
Analytical  mindset
