Context

IT Middleware Web Hosting has the mission to provide infrastructure services to host web and secure applications. The services provided by the team cover:

• Technical architecture
• Industrialization of web infrastructure & security assets
• Production support
• Integration and securing of web applications

Function Description

As a Web Architect in the Tech Design squad, your responsibilities will include:

• Project Support: Provide web and security architecture expertise and deliverables to ensure the best architectural choices that meet business purposes.
• Detailed Technical Design (DTD): Responsible for creating DTD documents for new features and validating them with feature architects and development squads.
• Guidance and Understanding: Assist all participants in understanding architectural documents and DTDs, promoting orderly approaches in delivery, and providing guidance for smaller requests.
• Reference Architectures: Contribute to the definition and maintenance of reference architectures.
• End-to-End Solutions: Bring a comprehensive view of solutions and provide technical expertise when needed, in collaboration with other experts.
• Efficiency and Optimization: Identify opportunities for savings and propose realistic actions. Detect decommissioning opportunities and suggest adequate actions.

Education

• Master's degree or equivalent experience.

Certifications

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Prince2, TOGAF, ITIL, ADKAR) are preferred.

Languages

• French: Fluent, French and/or Dutch is a plus
• Dutch: Fluent, French and/or Dutch is a plus
• English: Fluent

Required Knowledge / Experience

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Technical Experience:
  • Mandatory: Experience in web infrastructure architecture in enterprise environments with broad knowledge of Web Application Hosting (WebSphere, Kubernetes, Tomcat, IIS) and Web Security (ISVA, WAF, API GW, HSM).
  • Preferable: Strong technical background in at least two of the mentioned assets.
• Business Experience:
  • Mandatory: Understanding of bank-related business processes and the ability to assess impacts on business. Familiarity with Agile methodology.
