Infrastructure System Engineer

For our customer located in Brussels, Fujitsu is looking for an Infrastructure System Engineer:

Mission description:
 

• Strengthen the system engineers operational team.
• Co-operate the infrastructure systems with the different Managed Services Partners.

Responsibilities:
 

• Analyze, design, test, install, document, implement, support & co-operate complex infrastructure systems solutions in cloud & on-prem environments (Azure experience mandatory).
• Infra capacity management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare and maintain up to date documentation.
• Help resolve complex IT issues in a Tier 2-3 organization.
• Configure solutions for “Security Hardening”.
• Supervise the technical activities of the partner in charge for the Managed Services Azure & On-Prem.
• Deliver advises.
• Develop agreed solutions and implement new systems.
• Participate to the knowledge transfer & sharing.

 

Skills:
 

• Operating Systems: expertise in Windows Server (2000, 2003, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019), Windows 10, including hardening & patching.
• Virtualization: expertise in VMware vSphere including proficiency in designing, configuring, and managing vSphere environments. Knowledge of other VMware technologies such as vSAN, NSX, and Horizon is a plus.
• Containerization: proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, including experience in designing and deploying containerized applications, is a plus.
• Cloud Technologies: expertise in Azure cloud technologies, including proficiency in designing and implementing solutions using Azure services. Familiarity with AWS is a plus, but not required.
• Networking: familiar with with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, Express-route & SD-WAN.
• Active Directory: expertise in designing, implementing and managing AD domains, GPOs, ADFS and Azure AD.
• Backup and Recovery: knowledge of backup and recovery solutions, such as Veeam.
• Scripting: expertise in PowerShell, including advanced scripting skills. Experience with VBScript, batch and other scripting systems is also required.
• Monitoring and Management: hands-on experience with monitoring and management tools.
• Microsoft Exchange: experience with Exchange Server 2013, 2016, 2019 and online.
• Microsoft SQL Server: knowledge of SQL Server administration, including database backup and recovery, database performance tuning, and disaster recovery. Familiarity with other database engines such as Oracle and PostgreSQL is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Microsoft deployment tools: System Center Configuration Manager & Intune.
• Microsoft 365: Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online.
• 15 or more years of related information technology experience.
• Demonstrated experience in operations of enterprise systems.
• 2-5 years of strong experience directly related to Azure cloud computing.
• Strong Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
• Good Knowledge of Microsoft 365 components.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Teams based Telephony would be a plus.
• Experience as a Security Engineer will be also appreciated.
• Must enjoy operational tasks, troubleshooting and building systems.
• Demonstrate good judgment, identifying problems in advance and proposing solutions.
• Strong ability to learn new technologies in a short time.
• A team player, you also enjoy working alone.

Requirements:
 

• Computer science degree or a comparable training.
• Strong preference for candidates with Microsoft certifications, such as AZ-104, AZ-700, and other relevant Microsoft certifications. However, candidates with equivalent experience will also be considered.
