We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps Coach to support our organization in adopting DevSecOps culture and practices. You will work closely with product teams, security, operations teams and leadership to support DevSecOps transformation, streamline software delivery processes, and embed a culture of collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement.

- Coaching and Mentoring
- Act as a mentor and coach to development, security, operations, and leadership teams in adopting DevSecOps principles, practices, and tools
- Lead DevSecOps transformation initiatives, including cultural, process, and technical shifts
- Facilitate DevSecOps workshops, hands-on training, and knowledge-sharing sessions
- Cultural Transformation
- Drive the adoption of a DevSecOps mindset across the organization
- Collaborate with leadership to align DevSecOps initiatives with business goals
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and shared responsibility
- Technical Guidance
- Enable teams to build high-performing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies
- Provide expertise on integrating security tools (e.g., SAST, DAST, SCA) into the development process
- Advise on cloud security, container security, and infrastructure as code (IaC) best practices
- Process Improvement
- Identify bottlenecks in the software delivery process and recommend solutions
- Help teams implement automation to improve efficiency and security
- Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure security is embedded throughout the SDLC.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Act as a bridge between development, security, and operations teams
Qualifications
- Deep Understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps Principles:
- Proven experience in implementing DevOps and DevSecOps practices
- Proven experience as a DevSecOps practitioner or coach
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and test automation
- Strong knowledge of DevOps tools, cloud platforms, and security practices
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Terraform, Ansible)
- Knowledge of security integration into the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Certified DevOps trainer, combining theory and practical experience is a plus
- Coaching & Transformation Experience
- Proven experience in coaching teams and leadership on DevSecOps mindset and best practices
- Ability to drive cultural transformation and shift-left approaches
- Ability to foster cross-team collaboration between Development, Operations, and Security
- Leadership & Change Management
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills to influence teams, senior management, with experience in driving organizational change and DevOps maturity assessments.
- Experience in conducting workshops, training sessions, and hands-on coaching.
- Technical Expertise
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation tools is considered as a plus
- Proficiency in security tools such as SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets management, and runtime security solutions is considered as a plus
- Experience embedding Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and Continuous Delivery (CD) practices is a plus
- Soft Skills
- Strong communication, storytelling, and facilitation skills
- Ability to simplify complex security concepts for different audiences
