Datacenter Service Owner

For one of our customers in West-Flanders, we are looking for a Datacenter Service Owner

start: asap
first PO : 6 months
3 days onsite presence required

The Service Owner has developed extensive in-house expertise and is the primary technical
contact for Services provider(s) in analyzing and understanding problems of a complex nature.
Being a critical voice in CAB meetings will ensure a stable, performant and secure
environment for the respective technology domain & services the Service Owner is
responsible for.
By acting as an in-house technical expert the Service Owner actively collaborates with the
Service provider or other 3th parties in the successful implementation of projects within their
set of COE services.
In their role, Service Owners have an end-to-end service co-responsibility to reach the agreed
KPI service levels. The Service Owner has the technical expertise to understand, analyse,
troubleshoot & improve all underlying components of these service(s).
Collaboration is required in assisting the COE technical architect and COE manager with the
development of the roadmap, COE services catalogue and project portfolio.

Advice on the technology services ensuring continuity, performance and lifecycle in the
broadest sense, including alignment with the service delivery organization to operate
the service.
The Service Owner is aware of different technology solutions within their domain and
proactively collaborates with the technical architect to maintain and update the service
catalog. The Service Owner is involved in architectural design decisions and acts as a
backup in absence of the COE technical architect.
The Service Owner is co-responsible for build (project execution) activities. Either you
will work in a hybrid operational build constellation or being assigned as sole resource
End-to-end service co-responsibility to be compliant with the agreed KPI service levels
for your defined COE services catalogue including the overall KPI of Quality Days
By means of training, conference participation, vendor interaction and self-study the
SME keeps his knowledge in his domain up to date concerning:

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Desired education level: Master in Information Technology or equivalent by experience
Strong understanding of business strategy and market evolution
Expert and proven knowledge of the IT components & services within their domain
Basic understanding of other IT components and interactions within their own domain services
7 years of experience in the domain
Experience with managing outsourcing partners
