  Data Reporting & Visualization Specialist

Context: The SPM-Visualization team has developed a strong competence in Tableau, becoming a crucial support for our internal clients. With the evolution of sales performance and the push towards digitalization, we need to meet the growing demand by creating advanced dashboards in Tableau.

Role Overview: We are seeking a Tableau expert to join our team. This role involves creating and maintaining dashboards, supporting current Tableau users, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet their reporting and visualization needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Understand and identify reporting and visualization needs in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Capture requirements, develop prototypes, and translate them into full Tableau dashboards.
  • Present completed dashboards to stakeholders and incorporate feedback.

• Dashboard Development:

  • Develop, update, optimize, publish, and decommission dashboards according to data and reporting governance guidelines.
  • Strive for optimal solutions for the development and automation of reports/dashboards.

• Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Data Engineers to create sustainable data solutions for Tableau dashboards.
  • Set up, advocate, and implement reporting and visualization best practices in line with BNPPF guidelines and standards.
  • Act as the guardian and ambassador of established governance practices.

• Data Preparation:

  • Temporarily handle light data preparation tasks while designing reports and visualizations.
  • Ensure final data structures are solid, industrialized, and governed, ensuring traceability, consistency, and monitoring.

Required Experience and Knowledge:

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in dashboarding and reporting using Tableau.
  • Experience with SQL (writing and understanding queries).
  • Understanding of ETL tools (SAS Programming / SAS EGP) and DBMS Systems (Oracle / Sybase).
