1 Print service engineer

Job overview
 
  • Assist the  existing  print  service engineer in migration  activities,  primarily:
  1. Migration of the Print MFP's from the internal network to  Internet
  2. Migration of the Print servers from dedicated hosting to ING's Private Cloud
  3. Assist in implementation  of certificate enrolment tooling
  4. Assist in onboarding countries to the global print backbone.
  • Ensure that migrations  are completed  on  time,  especially ensuring that  critical  milestones  are met
  • Together with the PowerBI team, assist in creating dashboard and reports that allow senior management  to be aware of progress on an ongoing basis
  • Escalate to management  (Lead Engineer, IT Area Lead and/or Program Management)  any issues that
threaten meeting the milestones and require intervention
  • Hierarchically reports  into the IT  Area  Lead for  Modern  Management
  • Functionally  reports into the Lead Engineer  for  Hardware &  Print

Job requirements
  • The engineer has knowledge and practical experience in IT (>Syear) with trouble shooting within complex infrastructure (like data centres servers, enterprise networks, understanding of FW rules, certificates)
  • Working within international teams, with different cultures and backgrounds and act as an integrator between all the involved groups.
  • Testing; creating  test plans and execute  them.
  • Translate  objectives  in  to  plans/ tasks
  • Working  within  a secure and risk averse infra  structure
  • Reading and updating documentation
